Acceptance of Terms & Conditions
- By either viewing these websites or when placing an order, you accept and understand the terms and conditions as stated below.
Copyright
- All images on the websites, except the artist gallery images, belong to The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft and are subject to copyright and no unauthorised copying, printing or cloning is allowed. The gallery images are the copyright of the artist and are displayed on the websites with the authority of the artist and are available for sale on the websites with the prior permission of the artist and no unauthorised copying, printing or cloning of these images are allowed.
- All the material within and layout of the websites is copyright of the owner of the companies, The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft.
Our commitment to you
- When registering an account on the websites we will require you to provide your name, address and email address. We will not share or sell this information to other companies or organisations and it will be stored only for the reference of The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft to complete any orders and to maintain accounts. On occasions we may contact you by email to inform you of offers or promotions from The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft. You will have the opportunity to request no further emails by unsubscribing from our mailing list. We will not hold or have access to any credit/debit card information on our computers. Any purchase made via credit/debit card payments through The Canvas Loft or The Print Loft will be handled by our secure online payments partner (PayPalUK).
Your commitment to us
- When submitting an image to be printed, you indemnify The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft against copyright infringement and acknowledge you are the rightful owner of such image or have obtained the relevant written permission to reproduce such image. We may at any time request written proof of this permission. The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft have the right to refuse to print a submitted image if they suspect copyright infringement will take place. The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft will also refuse to print an image if it feels it is inappropriate or may cause offence.
- You undertake that all the details you provide for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.
- You have an obligation to supply a correct delivery address at the time of ordering. Should an incorrect address be entered and the delivery cannot be fulfilled and your goods are returned to us you will be held responsible for any costs incurred to have the goods delivered to the correct address.
Prices
- The prices for products and services are as listed on the websites and are current, We take every care to ensure the information is correct and accurate and cannot be held responsible for errors in the information. However we do not accept liability for errors in pricing or description and reserve the right to refuse any orders in this case.
The order process
- By placing an order you enter into an agreement with The Canvas Loft or The Print Loft to purchase goods or services. The Canvas Loft or The Print Loft will send an email confirming the details of your order. However this email does not constitute acceptance of your order and acceptance will be when your notice of dispatch email is sent.
- Images can be submitted as original Digital Files by email or on CD, original Photo Prints, Negatives or Slides. Digital images submitted via our online uploader, or via email are preferred. All original images sent to us will be returned, however we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage while in our possession or transit and recommend you make copies before submitting them to us. You should send any original images securely packed and by insured recorded delivery in case of loss or damage. Original images larger than A3 will incur an additional cost due to outsourcing of scanning facilities. All original images will undertake a certain amount of digital retouching to enhance the quality of your print to achieve the best results, however if we feel your image is not of sufficient quality then we will contact you before printing. If you do not wish to proceed with the order then you will receive a full refund. Please read the image requirements on the website.
- You may request us to further enhance your image by retouching it to eliminate scratches, blemishes, birds, aeroplanes etc. etc. If this request requires us to perform a time consuming task then we may at our discretion request further payment to cover the time taken to perform such tasks.
- Whilst every effort is made to match the colour accuracy of the original image to the final print there will be slight differences between them and we cannot be held responsible for such differences due to variations in equipment, media and inks. Be assured every effort will be taken to ascertain the best match possible. Also due to limitations of monitors and computers the images on The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft websites may not represent the true colour of the image.
Delivery/Returns
- Due to the individual nature of the product, every print is made to order and we will make every effort to fulfil your order within 14 days but this can take up to 28 days at busy periods, however should this be the case you will be informed by email of any delay in your order. We are unable to guarantee any delivery date due to the unique nature of the product and manufacturing times.
- If you are not satisfied with any gallery purchase made from us, you may return the product and obtain a refund of the purchase price, less any postage costs incurred by both parties, providing you contact us within 3 days of delivery and it is in an unused, undamaged, complete and in original condition. Due to the nature of the product, we regret we cannot offer refunds on bespoke orders. However, if a bespoke order has a manufacturing fault, it will be either repaired or replaced. Before returning an item you must email or telephone within 3 days of receiving the item/items to obtain a returns order number, otherwise we cannot accept the return.
- We will not be held responsible for any damage while your goods are in transit. Please ensure you check your goods prior to signing for them and bring any damage to the attention of the delivery company. We will not accept liability for loss or damage if you fail to do this. Once your goods are signed for, you accept all liability for them.
- All deliveries are tracked and a tracking number will be supplied upon request should a delivery not arrive within a reasonable time from the notice of dispatch.
- If your delivery address is outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information. Please note that when shipping products internationally you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Gift vouchers
- Gift vouchers have a time limit of 12 months from the date of issue. Each voucher will have a unique code number. This code will identify the recipient, the value and the address it was purchased for with The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft.
- When surrendering a gift voucher for a purchase it will become invalid after this point. It is your responsibility to keep secure the unique voucher code and The Canvas Loft or The Print Loft cannot be held responsible for any misuse of this code to make a purchase without the owners consent.
General
- The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, and you are advised to read (and are responsible for reading) all information on this website fully.
- The Canvas Loft or The Print Loft do not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.
- The Canvas Loft and The Print Loft will do its best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.
- It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order.
